How to create Event Link?

Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating and sharing a branded event link with Pageier QR:

1. Access the Feature:

   • Log in to your Pageier QR dashboard using your credentials.

   • On the left sidebar, click “Event links”.

2. Create a New Link:

   • In the Event Links section, click “+ Create new link”.

   • Choose a domain (select a custom domain from the dropdown if you have one, or use the default Pageier QR domain).

   • Set a path for your link (e.g., "/Property name "). You can adjust this later.

3. Customize Your Link:

   • Short URL: Pick a memorable URL (e.g., "15 ABC") or leave it blank for an auto-generated one.

   • Event Name: Enter the event’s name (e.g., "15 ABC").

   • Location: Add the event’s location.

   • Event URL: Include a link to the event’s main page (optional).

   • Notes: Provide extra details if needed.

   • Event Starts On: Set the start date and time.

   • Event Ends On: Set the end date and time.

   • Timezone: Select the correct timezone.

   • Reminders (Optional): Add dates for first and second reminders.

4. Add Optional Settings (if desired):

   • Tracking and Pixels: Include tracking pixels to monitor traffic.

   • Temporary URL:

     • Set a schedule for when the link is active.

     • Limit the number of clicks.

     • Add an expiration URL to redirect users after the link expires.

5. Secure Your Link (optional):

   • Password: Add a password for protection.

   • Sensitive Content Warning: Enable this if the event contains sensitive material.

6. Finalize the Link:

   • Review all details for accuracy.

   • Click “Update” to save and activate your link

7. Share Your Link:

   • Go to the “Event links” tab to find your link.

   • Copy the link and share it via email, social media, or any other platform.

What Happens Next?
When users click your branded event link, they’ll be prompted to add the event to their calendar with all details (name, location, dates, etc.) pre-filled for ease.

Troubleshooting Tip:
If you see a "This custom URL already exists" error, tweak the URL (e.g., add a number like "15 ABC St") or switch to a different domain.
