Start by logging into your Pageier QR account. From the menu on the left, select "Custom Domains." Next, click the "Connect Custom Domain" button at the top right. You’ll see a prompt explaining that your domain or subdomain needs an A record pointing to the IP address 127.0.0.1 , This is essential because it links your domain to Pageier QR’s hosting server.
Key Tip: If your root domain (e.g., myqrdomain.com) is already in use for your main website, opt for a subdomain (e.g., qr.myqrdomain.com) instead. Adjusting the A record for your root domain might interrupt access to your existing site.
For unused domains: Feel free to use the root domain (myqrdomain.com) if it’s not hosting anything yet.

While the DNS update processes, tweak these settings:
Custom Index URL: Choose a specific page users will see when they enter your custom domain directly. This overrides the default Pageier QR landing page.
Custom 404 Page: Define a URL for a tailored "not found" page, ensuring a polished experience if users hit a broken link under your domain.
